Card with Jonny and Andrea digis

I don't know what the weather was like with you today but I got completely soaked at work today. I was working outside when the heavens opened and I never saw a downpour like it!! I had a lovely soak in a big bubbly bath when I came home and then I thought I'd make a card using the two digi images I added to my Passion for Stamps  collection.
This time I've followed the sketch at Mojo Monday and the colours over at Color Throwdown   ( sky blue, chocolate chip, kraft and certainly celery ) looked too good to pass over!
I have paper pieced Andrea's dress to suit the challenge at Allsorts
and used Promarkers (as usual!!) for the colouring...I love the Marsh Green on the jacket!
The embossed background ( like animal skin) was included for the Corrosive challenge

Don't forget to have a look to see how you can win 5 of my digi images

Gardening Girl!

I've used my "garden tools" digi image ( avaliable HERE for £1.50 ) in a slightly different way today. It's actually the first time I've paper pieced a digi image, and I'm sure I'll be doing it more often. I printed the image onto patterned paper and cut out the relevant pieces just like you'd do with a rubber/ clear stamp. The rest is coloured with Promarkers
Although I was making the card for the Basic Grey challenge (pearls) I wasn't sure enough how it would turn out to actually print onto my precious Basic Grey paper so I used some I got free with a mag to try it out and used Basic Grey for the background.

I followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers
and also made it for the following challenges;
Frosted Designs....punches, pink, ribbon, flowers,glitter
Alphabet ...P is for punches

Please see the post above for digi candy giveaway!

Card for Fairymoon challenge

I mentioned in  a recent posting that I found a lovely craft shop while on holiday in the Cambridge area called Fairymoon Crafts and tonight I've managed to get time to use a couple of the things I bought there to make a card for their challenge.
The shop is very well stocked with all sorts of lovely goodies such as the gorgeous Xcut butterfly punch and the Xcut border punch I've used on my card tonight. They have a great stock of papers, ribbons and Copic markers. In fact I visited twice inside a couple of days and wish I'd found it earlier in my holiday!
Another great thing about it is that the shop is right beside a garden centre with a coffee shop so my long suffering husband enjoyed himself there while I browsed and chatted!
Apparently they run a monthly candy which will be resuming in September so please nip over and join in the challenge and visit their online shop.
I had a lovely time with Pina (one of the owners) who was really helpful and let me try out some Copics and generally made me feel like a friend as well as a customer! Thanks for all your help,Pina!

Now....onto the card!
I've used one of my own drawings which is available as a digi image from A Passion for Stamps and used the colours lilac and blue for the challenge at Stamp with Fun.
My trusty Promarkers were at hand again for the colouring!
It also fits the challenges at The Pink Elephant  (summer fun) and One Stop Craft (summer fun)

I'll be making some cards soon with the lovely Christmas stash I also bought!!

Lily

This is the first card I've made for a couple of weeks as I've been on holiday. We had a lovely time and have come home feeling the benefits!
Before I went away I cleaned the house from top to bottom (do you do that too?) and still can't find all my stash so I made this with what I could find in the meantime.
The image of the lily is one of my digis from HERE and I've coloured it with Promarkers and added some Stickles.
I made a list of challenges to enter and hopefully I remembered to add all the relevant bits and bobs..?
Cuttlebug Challenge......Sympathy
Papertake...........White and bright
Oh Alice........White and image
Our Creative Corner.......embossing
Alphabet challenge.....O is for ovals
A pocket full of posies....all that glitters
Mojo Monday..........the sketch
Cupcake..........lace (punch)

Sailing by..........

Hi there! Today's card is my DT creation for Crafty Calendar Challenges where this month the challenge is to follow a sketch with the added option of the theme "around the world"
I must admit that I was quite stumped and lost for ideas until I came up with the idea of sailing and so I drew a little boat. It's now one of my digi images and is available from A Passion for Stamps.
I'm on a bit of a roll with experimenting with my punches at the moment so I used my Woodware swirl punch on some blue paper ,then used the negatives for waves. I've made a little tutorial on how I did this along with a few other ideas using the same punch which you can see HERE
The image has been coloured with Promarkers and the little life belt has been made using circle punches and string.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Georgia for running the challenge up until now with and for all her hard work and motivation. She is handing over the reins to Lisa and I wish them both all the very best!

I am entering this card into the Totally Papercrafts Challenge  where the theme this week is BY THE SEA
Cute Card Thursday ...Whateva!
ABC ....A is for August

My apologies for posting this a couple of hours early this time but I'm on holiday and don't have easy access to the internet at the mo! I thought it was better a little early than late!

I'd like to tell you about a great little craft shop I found on my travels....but I have to go in a hurry now so I'll tell you all about it in my next post! See you then..
